How do I attach the InstaShield™ to my hat?

Do you have any other tips for fitting it?

Please remember that this is new plastic. You may need to work it in by hand to suit your particular hat and preferred fit. Some things that may be useful are folding the sides along the score lines, and curving the shield. Also see our tips for fitting to specific hats.

FITTING TIPS

Does the InstaShield™ work with glasses?

Our face shield is designed to slide onto the brim of your baseball hat or visor and then lock into place. You can adjust where you want it to sit on the brim so it can sit further away from your face if you have glasses. 

Does the InstaShield™ work for kids?

InstaShield has been tested and works with many child-sized hats.  We have also developed a Kids InstaShield™ that is available for purchase on our homepage here.

What is InstaShield™ made of?

We use recyclable  PET plastic.

Does InstaShield™ fit on a hard hat?

InstaShield is designed to fit on the brim of a standard baseball hat or visor.  We are currently working on a prototype that can work with hard hats. 

Do I have to wear a hat to use an InstaShield™?

InstaShield is designed to fit on the brim of a standard baseball hat or visor.

How do I clean it?

InstaShield can be cleaned with a disinfectant wipe or spray. Please do not use abrasive cleaners or abrasive sponges, as they will scratch the surface.

How do I share my InstaShield™?

The InstaShield is intended for either a single user, single use, or multiple uses by the same user.

SHIPPING

How much do you charge for shipping and handling?

Our shipping and handling rates vary based on weight and method, from $6.99 - $29.99.  For a single 5-pack, standard shipping anywhere in the continental US is $6.99.

Do you ship internationally?

Currently we are shipping only in the U.S. and Canada.  Stay tuned for additional options.

Where is my order?

Orders typically are processed and leave our facilities in 2-3 business days. Once shipped, you may experience Covid-19 related shipping delays which are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience in this difficult time.

What is the difference between Standard and Expedited shipping?

All orders are processed on a first in, first out basis, regardless of the type of shipping chosen.  As stated above, this is typically within 2-3 business days.  Standard shipping orders seem to be taking between 3-8 business days to arrive at the customer once they have left our location.  Expedited shipping orders seem to be taking between 2-4 business days.  Any order may experience Covid-19 related shipping delays which are beyond our control. We appreciate your patience in this difficult time.

How can I track my order?

Please look for your order confirmation or shipping confirmation email. If you do not see any emails from InstaShield, check your spam or junk folder.

Can I return my order?

For sanitary reasons, we are unable to offer returns or refunds on any items.

How do I report adverse events, other safety findings, and product complaints?

We collect, review and report all adverse events, other safety findings, and product complaint information associated with the use of our products. All information that pertains to an adverse event, other safety finding or product complaint must be directed to InstaShield for review and analysis as appropriate. Report adverse events, other safety findings, and product complaints related to any InstaShield product to InstaShield by calling 888-959-8258.
